The Altoona-Midway Jets scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past Liberty HomeSchool Alliance  66-63. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
 Altoona-Midway was led to victory by  Jacob Meigs and  William Stackhouse.  Meigs  scored 20 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals, while  Stackhouse  dropped  a double-double on 38 points and 15  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Stackhouse has scored all season.
 Altoona-Midway's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.33 points across that stretch. As for Liberty HomeSchool Alliance, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
 Altoona-Midway will be playing in front of their home fans against Tyro Christian at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Tyro Christian will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. Liberty HomeSchool Alliance will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Chetopa at 5:30  p.m.  on January 18th. Chetopa comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
