Eastside moved up to 192 from 261 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Big North - Liberty. The Ghosts climbed the ranks as a result of a 7-6 win over Hackensack.
Eastside and the Comets played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Eastside eventually emerging with a 7-6 victory.
Passaic County Tech's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jared Quintero threw for 64 yards and Thomas Jefferson had 25 yards receiving. On the ground Isaac Williams chipped in 115 yards. Kori Haggie helped Passaic County Tech's passing attack out by catching one ball for 19 yards.
Passaic County Tech's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Quintero has thrown for 405 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Haggie has eight catches for 133 yards. Williams leads the league in rushing with 579 yards.
A big matchup in Big North - Liberty this week will be when Jermain Johnson's team takes on the Bulldogs. The Ghosts are currently in third, while Passaic County Tech is in first.
Eastside made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,209 from 9,514. The advance stemmed from a 7-6 victory over Hackensack last week.
