Brown Made His Presence Known in Huss' 46-21 Win
Starting off the list is Huss's Javarion Brown, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Brown rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 173 yards and three touchdowns.
The win got Huss back to even at 2-2. Brown will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Forestview on Friday.

Kings Mountain was led to victory by Josiah Hill, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hill wasn't messing around, rushing for 141 yards and four touchdowns. The game was his fourth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season.
Hill must have Forestview's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Hill last faced the Jaguars back in September of 2023, he rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

Gene Neely posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He forced a fumble and made nine total tackles. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making nine total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Neely is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Forestview on Friday. When Neely last faced the Jaguars back in October of 2023, he made 15 total tackles and snagged an interception.
