Hector has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 140 points over their last three games.
Hector can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by Palestine-Wheatley on the road to the tune of 41-8.
Hector got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Taylor out in front who threw for 216 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. Pj Henderson was in the mix too, providing Hector with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Mineral Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to Murfreesboro 12-6. Having soared to a lofty 58 points in the game before, Mineral Springs couldn't push the score so high this time.
Hector pushed their record up to 6-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.67 points. As for Mineral Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-1.
