After losing to the Foundation Collegiate Academy Wolves the last time they met, the Girard College Cavaliers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Girard College blew past Foundation Collegiate Academy 45-23.
Girard College can attribute much of their success to Brendan Curtis, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Antoine Seals, who scored 13 points.
The victory got Girard College back to even at 1-1. As for Foundation Collegiate Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Girard College will take on Germantown Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Foundation Collegiate Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kohelet Yeshiva at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
