Pendleton's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malachi Woodruff, who went 6-for-15 en route to 15 points and seven steals. The dominant performance gave Woodruff a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Ross, who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, Pendleton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crescent only pulled down five offensive rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crescent to victory, but perhaps none more so than Qya Clemons, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 16 points along with five boards and three steals. Clemons has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Colton Walker was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds.
Pendleton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Crescent, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
