Basketball Recap: Coolidge Piles Up the Points Against Bell

Coolidge won the last time they faced Bell and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Coolidge Colts breezed by the Bell Griffins to the tune of 73-11. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.

Quintin Cooper was his usual excellent self, going 15 of 22 on his way to 33 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Makiah Gray, who posted ten points.

The victory made it two in a row for Coolidge and bumps their season record up to 10-4. As for Bell, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coolidge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-22 win against Woodson on the 10th. As for Bell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 77-51 loss against Ron Brown on the 10th.
