On Friday, Lexington put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Lafayette County 42-0. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Lexington had established a 32-0 advantage.
The win was the 3rd in a row for Lexington, as they raised their record to 7-1. The loss dropped Lafayette County back to even at 4-4.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Lexington will stay at home next week against Richmond at 7:00 PM. Lafayette County will be staying on the road, facing off against Carrollton.
