The Delphi Community Oracles will face off against the Lewis Cass Kings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Delphi Community's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Lewis Cass has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
On Thursday, Delphi Community got the win against Tri-Central by a conclusive 11-5. Considering the Oracles have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Brett Huffman was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Coghill, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs.
Meanwhile, Lewis Cass never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Southwood with a sharp 10-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Kings considering their one-run performance the contest before.
The team relied heavily on Tyler Foley, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Anderson Emmons was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Lewis Cass always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Delphi Community's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Lewis Cass, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Delphi Community was able to grind out a solid victory over Lewis Cass in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, winning 19-15. Will the Oracles repeat their success, or do the Kings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
