The  victory made it two in a row for South Albany and  bumps their season record up to 7-12. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Crescent Valley, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 6-14.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Albany will square off against Central at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4  runs per game  this season, so the Redhawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Crescent Valley, they will face off against Silverton at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Foxes have averaged an impressive 8.5  runs per game this season.
