Gholson will look to defend their home court on Friday against Harmony School of Innovation at 7:30 p.m. Harmony School of Innovation took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Gholson, who comes in off a win.
Gholson waltzed into Tuesday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They had just enough and edged Iredell out 39-37. The squad ran away with 31 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.
Gholson's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Cayden Thomas, who scored 11 points, and Lane Kunkle, who scored 12 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Kunkle has scored at least 25% of Gholson's points.
Meanwhile, Harmony School of Innovation had to suffer through a rough 75-5 loss at the hands of Moody. Harmony School of Innovation has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Gholson's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Harmony School of Innovation, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
