Spring can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Westfield Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Julian Curry, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Anthony Cuarenta also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Spring always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Spring's record is now 7-8. As for Westfield, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Spring will have a chance to go back-to-back against Westfield: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
