Orange has gone a perfect 7-0 against Person recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Orange has three straight victories, Person has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

While Orange's win against Southern Alamance wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers beat the Patriots by a goal, winning 2-1.

Meanwhile, Person fell victim to Cedar Ridge and their airtight defense last Wednesday. They came up short against the Fighting Red Wolves, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Person can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 446th, while Cedar Ridge are ranked 161st).

Person's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Orange, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Orange took their win against Person in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
