It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Grace Christian Academy Lions ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They secured a 57-53 W over Columbia Academy. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Grace Christian Academy as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Despite the loss, Columbia Academy saw an underclassman step up: Haley Collins scored 18 points along with two steals. Charley rae Hutchison was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Grace Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Columbia Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.
