Northview waltzed into their game  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Marshall Owls onto the board and left with  a   2-0  victory.
  Bradon Thrush tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run over five innings pitched.  Nick Schantz picked up the save,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (he also only allowed one  walk).
 At the plate, Northview's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Carson Holmes, who  went 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Northview's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Marshall, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Northview is on the road again  on Friday to play New Albany at 9:00  a.m. As for Marshall, they will be playing at home against Fulton at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
