Lynn is 8-2 against the Lions since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Lynn Bears will face off against the Hubbertville Lions at 8:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Hackleburg scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, Lynn still came out on top. Lynn managed a 66-62 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lynn.
Lynn got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cale Tittle out in front who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. Tittle has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Braylen Roberts, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hubbertville beat the Red Devils 42-36 on Monday. The victory was just what Hubbertville needed coming off of a 70-41 loss in their prior game.
Lynn is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Hubbertville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.
Lynn took their victory against the Lions in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 57-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lynn since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
