After soaring to 34 points the game before, The San Augustine Wolves were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a serious blow against Garrison, falling 58-10. San Augustine has struggled against Garrison recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Tymorian Cartwright punched in a rushing score. Jayden "Stooka" Clifton was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards.
Garrison's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Omarion Rasberry led the charge by rushing for 150 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Rasberry is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Javien Black and his 90 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Garrison's win.
San Augustine has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Garrison, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
San Augustine will look to defend their home field on Friday against Grapeland at 7:00 p.m. Grapeland is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Garrison, they will head out on the road to face off against Timpson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Timpson is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
