Madison is 8-2 against Middleton since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mustangs will welcome the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Madison has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 11th.
Madison blew Greenfield out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Greenfield got their revenge. The Mustangs fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 7-5. Surprisingly, this marked the Mustangs' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Dylan Stranak made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of Madison's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 8-4 (and 4-9-1 when he doesn't).
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Middleton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let West Carroll get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Kamren Bumpus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits.
At the plate, Middleton let Tony Street and Gavin Harmon run wild. Street went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs, while Harmon went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Wilson, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Middleton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Carroll only posted an OBP of .333.
Madison now has a losing record of 12-13-1. As for Middleton, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Madison has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Middleton struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Madison beat Middleton 5-1 when the teams last played back in March. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
