Robert C. Byrd took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lewis County Minutemen as they made off with a 41-19 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Isaiah Heflin had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 74 yards and three TDs. Another player making a difference was Isaac Barksdale, who rushed for 74 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
