Hudson extended their road winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Kaitlyn Drost. The Raiders walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Chippewa Falls Cardinals on Thursday with plenty of help from Drost, who had ten digs and four assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Hudson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-11, 25-12, 25-21.
Despite the loss, Chippewa Falls saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brynn Von Haden had six digs and three aces. Ilah Sinz was another key player, getting eight digs and two assists.
