McPherson extended their winning streak  to nine  on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 25-3 in the process. Everything went their way against the Buhler Crusaders as they made off with  a  7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bullpups, who have now won 15 matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
McPherson got a great performance from  Logan Beede as he  pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Brenden Doile, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Brody Seidl, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  run.
As for Buhler, they moved to 19-8 with that  loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the  contest (they scored no less than ten  runs in the four  games prior), but McPherson's pitchers proved too tough.
 On Buhler's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cash Carson, who  went 1-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  RBI. Carson has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played.
McPherson will have a chance to go back-to-back against Buhler: the pair will be back at it again later today.
