Riverside was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Ansonia Tigers. That looming 11-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Pirates yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Aidden Manning, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Orsborne, who scored two runs and stole two bases.

Riverside now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Ansonia, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will host Troy Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ansonia, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bradford at 5:00 p.m.
