North Vermillion Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Andrew Botner
North Vermillion picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Andrew Botner. Botner was unstoppable, rushing for 136 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also picking up 70 receiving yards. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
If history really does repeat itself, Botner might just drop another big game when he faces off against North Central on Friday. For the year, Dawson has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 126.2 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after nine games last season, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 11.

Rounding off our Top Five is Cian Moore of Covington. Moore rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 95-yard run.
Moore might have his next game, a home matchup with Attica, circled on his calendar. When Moore last faced the Red Ramblers last Friday, he rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries.
