Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin lost to Padua Franciscan back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions came out on top against the Padua Franciscan Bruins by a score of 72-64. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on five straight.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points per game. As for Padua Franciscan, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin will be home for the holidays to greet Gilmour Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Gilmour Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin likes a good challenge. Padua Franciscan and Holy Name will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
