At the plate, Tuslaw let Dani Crescenze and Eiley Bolgiano run wild. Crescenze went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs, while Bolgiano went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Crescenze has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hadley Porter, who went 4-for-5 with two doubles, one triple, and one run.
Tuslaw kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 22 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in eight consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Norwayne got the win against Chippewa on Wednesday by a conclusive 18-3.
Avery Lonsbury was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Lonsbury was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Saturday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Tuslaw has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .517. However, it's not like Norwayne struggles in that department as they've averaged .542. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Tuslaw took their victory against Norwayne in their previous meeting back in May of 2022 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
