Lunenburg Central will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Campbell at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Lunenburg Central weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 17-21 to Altavista Combined School last Friday.
Meanwhile, Campbell took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge last week, breezing past Randolph-Henry 54-6. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-0.
Campbell's win lifted them to 1-0 while Lunenburg Central's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Campbell can add another positive mark to their record or if Lunenburg Central can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Campbell's step.
