Davidson Academy has gone a perfect 6-0 against The Webb School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bears will head out on the road to take on the Feet at 2:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Davidson Academy barely beat Goodpasture Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears blew past the Cougars 9-2 on Tuesday. Considering the Bears have won nine matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, The Webb School made sure to put some runs up on the board against Station Camp on Friday. The Feet's pitchers stepped up to hand the Bison an 11-0 shutout. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Feet's hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

The team relied heavily on Drew Baker, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Sammy Ledbetter also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

The Webb School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Davidson Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for The Webb School, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Davidson Academy took their victory against The Webb School when the teams last played back in April of 2017 by a conclusive 18-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
