The Bozeman Bucks will head out on the road to challenge the Walton Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Walton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bozeman, who comes in off a win.
Bozeman proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 12) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Chipley 9-8. The Bucks haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Leah Peacock made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

John scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-5, while Thomason scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. John has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kinsey Bruhmuller, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
Bozeman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. They are 6-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Walton was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to Milton.
Walton also got a good showing from Bella Baker, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits Baker has allowed since back in February of 2024.
On the hitting side, Walton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Bendure, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Bozeman pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Walton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
Both Bozeman and Walton just can't seem to miss. The Bucks have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Walton struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
