Maysville is 0-7 against Milan since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Maysville Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Milan Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Maysville comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-19, which was the final score in Maysville's tilt against South Harrison on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Maysville in their matchups with South Harrison: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Milan came up short against Polo on Tuesday and fell 43-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Milan has scored all season.
Milan's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Marian Dabney, who scored 14 points along with three steals, and Emerson Pauley who scored ten points along with three steals.
Maysville's loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Milan, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
Maysville was taken down by Milan 60-20 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Maysville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
