Thomas MacLaren School's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lance Mathews, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Mathews is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 16 games he's played dating back to last season. Caiden Zoerb-Orta was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.
Coming up, Ellicott will head out to take on Calhan at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they will host Kiowa at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
