Foothill recap November 13, 2013
Valencia extended the longest winning streak in Foothill this week by beating Golden Valley, 56-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Saugus scaled the state rankings by moving to 174 from 210 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Centurions were able to move up by beating West Ranch 43-14.
Brady White threw for 419 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 41-62 with 3 interceptions.
Alex Rassool made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Wildcats lost to Saugus. The 6-foot-0 defensive end grabbed 2 sacks.
White put up the best numbers through the air as Hart lost to Canyon. White's favorite target this week was Trent Irwin, who caught 10 passes for 129 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Indians' White and Irwin have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback White has thrown for 3,437 yards this season, while Irwin has 55 catches for 1,144 yards. West Ranch's Christian Parrish leads the league in rushing yards with 899.
Valencia took down the Grizzlies 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Malik Townsend caught 3 passes for 90 yards in the win.
