Highland Park dropped their record down to 12-3 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nova Classical Academy Knights. The Scots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.

As for Nova Classical Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season. With that win, they brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

For Nova Classical Academy's part, they got a massive performance out of Will Choi, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave Choi a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Karelitz, who went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Looking ahead, Highland Park will be playing at home against Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nova Classical Academy, they will face off against St. Agnes at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
