The Miami East Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bethel Bees at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Miami East is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bethel in Ohio (Miami East is ranked 283rd, while Bethel is ranked 645th).
Last Saturday, it was a hard-fought match, but Miami East had to settle for a 54-52 defeat against Anna.
Meanwhile, Bethel scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Northwestern 68-50. The victory was some much needed relief for Bethel as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Miami East's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Bethel, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.
Miami East was able to grind out a solid victory over Bethel in their previous matchup back in January, winning 71-59. Will Miami East repeat their success, or does Bethel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
