The Union Springs Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Newfield Wolverines at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Newfield took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Union Springs, who comes in off a win.
Even though Cato-Meridian scored an imposing 59 points back in December of 2023, Union Springs still came out on top. Union Springs came out on top in a nail-biter against Cato-Meridian and snuck past 61-59.
Meanwhile, Newfield pushed their score all the way to 69 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Sinai. Despite running the score up even higher than they did back in December of 2023 (59), Newfield still had to take the loss.
Union Springs' win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Newfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
