There's no place like home for Hillsboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the McGavock Raiders 13-0 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Burros, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Efrain Martinez III (TRE), who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Jalen DeFrance was another key player, earning one RBI, three runs, and one stolen base.

Hillsboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McGavock only posted an OBP of .077.

Hillsboro's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for McGavock, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Coming up, Hillsboro will be playing in front of their home fans against Gallatin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games the Green Wave have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. McGavock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
