Having just played yesterday, the Tilden Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Tilden has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Tilden scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Victoria Soto 62-24 at home. That looming 62-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Tilden yet this season.
Tilden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lunden Williams, who scored 19 points along with nine assists and six steals. Those nine assists set a new season-high mark for him. Anthony Bailon was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Muchin College Prep really took it to Baker for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-9 victory on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-5.
Muchin College Prep can attribute much of their success to Jalen McIntyre , who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Omarie Burns, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Tilden's record now sits at 3-1. As for Muchin College Prep, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5.
