Sylva Bay Academy found their leader in underclassman Cash Pickel, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. Brody Boyd was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Tunica Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sylva Bay Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.
Tunica Academy came up short against Sylva Bay Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 48-43. Can Tunica Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
