The Community Christian Academy Ambassadors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 56-46 to Jefferson Davis Academy. Community Christian Academy has struggled against the Raiders recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Community Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Caleb Ramsey, who scored 12 points, and Colton Betosky who scored 12 points.
Jefferson Davis Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nasir Void out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Void is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Colson Loadholt, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Community Christian Academy now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community Christian Academy will take on the Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Mead Hall Episcopal School is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, they will be playing at home against the Bucks at 7:23 p.m. on Thursday. Sandhills is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
