Highland came tearing into Wednesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 79-30 victory over the Desert Ridge Jaguars. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Highland was led to victory by Nick Reber and Tyson Cutchen. Reber went 7 for 9 on his way to 18 points, while Cutchen posted eight points and nine rebounds. Ty Crandall was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and six boards.

Highland pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Desert Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Highland will take on Gilbert at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert Ridge, they will welcome Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Queen Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Desert Ridge likes a good challenge.
