Stony Point can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Glenn Grizzlies. The Tigers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Grizzlies, so the Tigers were just returning the favor.

Stony Point never let Glenn on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21.

Ella Larbi paced Stony Point's offense, picking up ten kills. Larbi got some help from Aubree Bagley and her 16 assists. Taliah Angwekwe controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Peyton Raymond and K'lyana Gil certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Raymond had nine assists and seven digs, while Gil had nine digs and two assists. Those assists marked the first that Gil has posted this season.

Stony Point's victory bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Glenn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Stony Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Rouse on the 2nd. As for Glenn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Bowie on the 2nd.
