After flying high against the Wheaton Knights last Monday, the Quince Orchard Cougars came back down to earth. Quince Orchard's tough 60-40 defeat to Wootton on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Quince Orchard of the 60-49 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Quince Orchard lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kasey Rappaport. Despite the final result, she scored eight points along with six assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sydney Richardson, who scored ten points.
Quince Orchard now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Wootton, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
