Volleyball Recap: Roncalli's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Roncalli hadn't done well against Chilton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Jets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Jets sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Roncalli walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 20-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Leading Roncalli to victory were Elise Culligan and Gracie Hamann. Culligan had 11 digs, while Hamann had 11 kills and ten digs. That's the most kills Hamann has posted over her last nine matches.

Roncalli's record now sits at 13-14. As for Chilton, their loss dropped their record down to 14-14.

Looking ahead, Roncalli will challenge Mishicot at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chilton, after both having extra time off, they and New Holstein will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
