Metlakatla had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Haines Glacier Bears on Friday as the Metlakatla Chiefs made off with a 60-36 victory. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Metlakatla is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points on average over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Haines and nudges their season record down to 8-12.
