East River barely beat University the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 11-2 win on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Ty Kennedy was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Michael Morales was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

East River was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as University only posted a batting average of .160.

The victory made it two in a row for East River and bumps their season record up to 14-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for University, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

East River will head out to square off against Olympia at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for University, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Boone at 6:00 p.m.
