It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 97-51, which was the final score in Central's's tilt against Spalding on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Central still got an impressive performance from Joshua Seldon, who scored 28 points. The contest was Seldon's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Demarcus White, who scored ten points.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Spalding, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chattahoochee County at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Spalding won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Savannah Christian at 5:30 p.m. on December 20th. Savannah Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
