On Saturday, South Forsyth got the win against Denmark by a conclusive 59-36. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Forsyth.
In what's become a running theme this season, Milton gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. Everything went their way against Mount Pisgah Christian as Milton made off with a 82-60 victory. The victory was nothing new for Milton as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Milton can attribute much of their success to Londyn Walker, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 assists, and Nya Smith, who shot 4-for-8 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 32 points and nine rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least a third of Milton's points. Another player making a difference was Caroline Young, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.
The victory got South Forsyth back to even at 13-13. As for Milton, they pushed their record up to 22-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.
South Forsyth came up short against Milton in their previous meeting last Friday, falling 53-42. Can South Forsyth avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
