Norco and Corona squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Norco had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The Cougars' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Norco's defeat dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Corona, they pushed their record up to 28-2 with the win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Norco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Corona, they will square off against St. John Bosco at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Braves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
