The Classen SAS Comets came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Victory Christian 62-33 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-17.
Skylar Durley was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for four games straight. Another player making a difference was Paige Williams, who scored ten points along with seven assists.
Classen SAS is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Victory Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Classen SAS will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Star-Spencer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Victory Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Metro Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
