The Olympia Titans won the last time they faced the Osceola Kowboys, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Olympia narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Osceola 49-47. Given Olympia's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while Osceola is ranked 335th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kameren Wright was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with 3 steals. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Vophcy Prophete was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 6 rebounds.
Olympia's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Osceola, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Olympia will be playing at home against Rockledge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockledge has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 299 points over their last four matches. As for Osceola, they will head out on the road to face off against Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Centennial focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday.
