This season hasn't been kind to the Kenwood Knights, who are still winless after their seventh game. They were dealt a  67-31 defeat at the hands of Clarksville on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Kenwood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings  (they are ranked 320th, while Clarksville is ranked 17th).
 Kenwood's lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Yazmine Pearson, who  scored 12 points. Pearson scored a full 38.7% of Kenwood's points, the second time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zakiya White, who  scored 8 points.
 Kenwood bumped their record down to 0-7 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home. As for Clarksville, the  win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
 Kenwood will head out on the road to face off against Rossview at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Rossview will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Clarksville, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against West Creek at 6:00  p.m. West Creek is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
